| You know usually when a pup has no appetite he needs to be on panacur in case it is giardia also with the coccidia. The giardia is the one that causes loss of appetite. Sometimes they miss the giardia when they test for it. I would see if you could get him on a round of Panacur, I think its five days for Giardia. Also are you giving Nutri Cal it has extra vitamins in it the pup needs since he was not eating very well. First Yorkie I bought had that. I lost the pup too, he was also only 6 weeks. ![]() That was years ago but still weighs heavy on my heart. Best of luck with your pup Deana Prestigeous |

| when my pups are small, I free feed them, the food is down all day and night...That was one thing the vet told me the other day, which I already knew, that they either needed food down 24/7 or a few small meals a day.. |

| Yeah, I put down fresh food and water daily. But he is not interested in the food I put down. So we have to assist feed him. He likes to snoop and sniff around, so I even made a trail of food on the floor to his bowl. But he did act interested in his food the other day when we first brought him home from the doctor. He ate a few pieces of kipples, then ever since wants nothing to do with it. |

| Well, as of Friday 11/02 Spike has been eating and drinking on his own. It is Wedn. 11/7 and we have not had to assist feed him or anything since then. I dont know what happened, but he turned for the best. He has been being a great lil'pup now. Barking, running, grawling, chewing, etc. It is GREAT. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. |

| BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Please don't tell me you got him from a breeder in Martinsville IN ? I had to nurse a very tiny pup that belonged to a friend after she got her pup from this breeder and her pup had Coccidia. I had to forse feed her from a syringe. Like your boy she spent a lot of time in the animal ER. She about lost her life several times. The meds that they give for Coccidia will make them sick and not want to eat, but you have to continue to give them the meds to make them better, there for you have to make them eat. I wish you the best of luck and pray your lil guy will be just fine! |

| the pet store should have to pay for all vet bills and also you should be able get the name of the puppy mill off the dogs papers that the store gave to you, or make the store give you the name and number of the breeder, and report them along with the store. thats what i did when i got one of my dogs that was sick from parvo from a pet store. ( that was years ago before i knew about puppy mills)

| The dog is doing much better. We think he is uphill from here. We did contact the pet store and the pet store got him from a local breeder. He is pure bred so we do have papers on him. Also, the pet store is in total agreement to pay all of the vet bills dealing with Spikes illness. So everything is going great. |
