| For liver disease carrots and green beans are good for them as treats. Remember that dogs can't digest veggies like humans, so in order for them to get nutritional value from them, they need to be either food processed or steamed lightly. Fruits that are food for them are apples (no skin and no seeds) and seedless watermelon. If liver disease is suspected venison or any types of red meat are not recommended because they produce the most amount of toxins and are very hard for the liver to process.
