| ![]() Henry Had His Teeth Cleaned And The Vet Cut Some Extra Skin Off His Tail, That Was Left When His Tail Was Cut Off By The Breeder. He Said This Would Save Him From Having To Be Put To Sleep Twice. It Has Been A Nightmare, He Would Not Leave The Stiches Alone, We Went Back The Nest Day And Got A Little Lamp Shade. I Took It Off Ot Play With Him And Feed Him. He Couldnt Play For Wanting To Bite At The Area While I Was Getting His Shade He Spiped One Of The Stiches. We Go Back To The Vet . It Had Been 5 Days But He Put 3 Staples In His Little Tail. He Is Still Wearing This Shade And Will Have To For 5 More Days. Five More Days Of This , I Don't Know If Henry Can Handle This. I Ordered A Donut Ring And A More Confortable Shade From Jefferies. Anything Else I Can Do. Henry Is 2 And Very Active. But Each Time We Play He Stars Nipping At His Tail. Nothing Distracks Him From The Tail. Help Gb And Henry |

| ![]() Sorry to hear that Henry has had such a difficult time. When Angel was spayed, we had to use the cone since her incision got infected and she wouldn't leave it alone. She had to wear it for 8 days and the heavy plastic combined with the heavy snaps weighed almost as much as she did. She didn't move around very much when the cone was on. Our vet also had her on pain meds the whole time, so I think this helped her be a little more inactive. I don't have any idea on how to keep him away from his tail. It sounds like it really hurts him and that is why he keeps licking/biting at it. Hope he gets better real soon and you can put all this behind you.
