She is still not walking on her leg but it is too early. She is not in pain and I am giving her her antibiotic . She seems okay. Thanks everybody!

Did the Vet give you pain meds?

Roxy had a morphin patch on her leg for about 4-5 days or so. Then I gave her an oral Pain Med for about 3 weeks.

Also, I kept Roxy contained for the 8 week recovery in a small x-pen. For the first week, I didn't let her walk really, only to do potty. The next week she could do a little more and so on. But for the most part she was contained in the x-pen or I carried her. I had to do some leg stretches and such, but no running, playing, jumping, basicly no normal yorkie life for 8 weeks.

I hope she continues to get better soon!

Yes I also gave her her pain medication this morning. She is here laying down on her blankie next to me. Taking it one day at a time. Thanks for asking.

Thank you all for your prayers they are working, I see her walking a little better. Going to give her antibiotic again. She has antibiotic twice a day and pain medication once a day.
