| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | So glad to hear that tink is on the mend. Every kibble she eats and step she takes is one better then the day before. I check up on this thread every day when i get home or in the morning just to see if she seizured again or if she ate. The pictures are great. The groomer did a nice job on her hair. She's so precious.

| Good morning! Tink had a great night! She did have one seizure but it was only about a minute or so. She didn't soil during it and she didn't cry so that has to be good - right? This morning she ate 1/4 cup of ID and about 2 tablespoons of yogurt. She sure likes that yogurt. I have to get some more today cause I just got a little cup since I wasn't sure if she would eat it. Did you see that yesterday she barked at me - alot?! I was shocked but thrilled. She has taken to sitting up, looking at me and just barking! No clue why except that I think she wants me to pick her up, so I do. And she is squeaking her frog again like she did before she got sick. She is improving so quickly - I'm just amazed. Thank you everyone for all your support. You've been just grand. |

| Today when I picked her up at the vet, he said he didn't think I needed to board her anymore; that she was well enough to be crated for a few hours alone. I asked about the seizures and he said they are mild enough that she won't hurt herself if she's crated. The only thing is the soiling after the seizures but I can either put a diaper on her (ugh) or put a piddle pad at one end of the crate (ugh). I think we'll do the diaper 'cause she won't know to run to the piddle pad when she's having a seizure - DUH! So ya know what I think? Well, let me tell you! (you thought I wouldn't?) I think that being a lady dog (puppy notwithstanding), she got her lovely hair cut and said to herself, "Tink, you have to get over this ridiculous illness because you're so cute now you just have to show yourself off. You can't do that in a vet crate now can you?" And voila! I know she still has a long way to go, but she is recovering so quickly now that she's home. I just have to think that all our prayers and lots of love are doing the trick. ![]() OH I almost forgot about the walking - when we got home tonight, I set her carrier (thanks Twalla ) on the floor and unzipped the side. I turned to put my purse on a chair and when I turned back she had walked out of the carrier and was standing there looking at me! Isn't that great!!! And she has stood and taken a few steps several more times this evening. She doesn't go very fast and she doesn't have a destination, she just wants to move. I'm very excited about that. Here's a pic of her in her chair in her new dress I made her. Just resting and dreaming of walking off into the sunset with (can't mention his name 'cause she's not sure yet ).Ahhh, sigh. I'm feeling much better about her today - yesterday was good too for that matter. Yes indeed she is getting well. |

| Such good news, Susie. Tink's dress is just darling, her new haircut is stunning and Charlie is wondering if he could be in the running for her affection? He may be an old guy, but still acts and looks like a puppy. Tink, you are becoming stronger every day, and glad you are barking because I think that is an excellent sign. Warmly, Deborah and Charlie (wistfully looking at Tink's picture in her pretty blue dress)
