Today when I picked her up at the vet, he said he didn't think I needed to board her anymore; that she was well enough to be crated for a few hours alone. I asked about the seizures and he said they are mild enough that she won't hurt herself if she's crated. The only thing is the soiling after the seizures but I can either put a diaper on her (ugh) or put a piddle pad at one end of the crate (ugh). I think we'll do the diaper 'cause she won't know to run to the piddle pad when she's having a seizure - DUH!
So ya know what I think? Well, let me tell you! (you thought I wouldn't?) I think that being a lady dog (puppy notwithstanding), she got her lovely hair cut and said to herself, "Tink, you have to get over this ridiculous illness because you're so cute now you just have to show yourself off. You can't do that in a vet crate now can you?" And voila!
I know she still has a long way to go, but she is recovering so quickly now that she's home. I just have to think that all our prayers and lots of love are doing the trick.
OH I almost forgot about the walking - when we got home tonight, I set her carrier (thanks Twalla

) on the floor and unzipped the side. I turned to put my purse on a chair and when I turned back she had walked out of the carrier and was standing there looking at me! Isn't that great!!!

And she has stood and taken a few steps several more times this evening. She doesn't go very fast and she doesn't have a destination, she just wants to move. I'm very excited about that.
Here's a pic of her in her chair in her new dress I made her. Just resting and dreaming of walking off into the sunset with (can't mention his name 'cause she's not sure yet

).
Ahhh, sigh. I'm feeling much better about her today - yesterday was good too for that matter. Yes indeed she is getting well.
