Paisley Update 7-12-07 Hi everyone, thanks again for all the prayers and nice comments. ;) I don't have a major update to give. Not much has changed in the past couple days. We're still working on her one ear to get it to open up. I hope with the new medicine, this should happen by tomorrow. She is currently sitting here chewing on a bone, so I hope that means she's feeling a little better today. :) I'm not sure what else to tell you guys. She'll go back to the vet next Friday unless something else happens again. Thank you all again for the prayers. We send everyone big hugs and Paisley sends some kisses. ;) |
It sounds like a good sign that she is chewing on a bone. I hope that baby girl gets better soon!! Betty and Juju Bean send hugs!! |

Well, if she had been listless to date and is now chewing on a bone, that's a pretty good sign. It will take time though. Those meds are tough and once they really start to work, don't be surprised if she seems like she has gotten worse. If this happens, it shouldn't go beyond a day if it's normal. Ears are even more vital to dogs than to us and probably a lot more sensitive, too. Hang in there!:) |
Paisley upade 7-14-07 Hi, I wanted to let everyone know that I believe Paisley's ears are doing much better. Both holes are now open.....:D She's been playing so much more and stealing all the toys from her sisters. :cool: She's fighting me even more about the meds I have to put in her ears, but I take that as a good sign that she's even stronger now. :thumbup: I still have to give her the differen't medicines for another week. She will go back to the vet next Friday to be checked again. I know I'm no vet, but I almost guarantee a specialist won't be needed. :D :D :D Right now she's chewing on her brother's favorite bone, LOL, and looks like a complete mess with her little greasy hair. She seems so happy and I feel so much better now. :) Thank you all for the prayers. I truly believe they helped her and we are soooooo thankful for all of you. :) |
