Yes Samantha did you get the rest of the Nebulizer stuff? I hope all is ok. |

Yes, I did get it. Thank you! Baby is doing so much better. I don't know if it's the Orbax working or what but I'm happy about it. I just hope it lasts and continues going better! We had a little rough night last night so I actually just woke up and its 1PM! I went and got a cage. Put her in their to sleep. She cried a little but got over it and slept. 4 in the morning she started crying. Well I feel like a bad mommy because I didn't understand the signs. I let her out for a minute but then I figured I really need to get her used to staying there during the whole night so I put her back and moved the cage to the living room so the neigbours wouldn't hear her as much. After all that screaming my husband said she probably needs to poop because she usually does in the middle of the night. WOW, that sight was sooo nasty and I felt so sad for not understanding that she needed something. She had pooped all over the cage and stomped on it and it was even stuck in her toy. It was sooo gross. Anyway, so she got out of the cage off coarse and I started the cleaning. My other dog has always stayed in the cage for at least 8hrs and he didn't need to poo or pee so I guess I thought she would be the same. But then again, he would cry if he needed to go but I took her loud crying for not wanting to stay in the cage so I feel bad. I didn't understand. buu huuu Did you put your puppies in a cage when you first got them? I'm scared she'll get into some bad troubble like biting on the courts and stuff so that's why I decided to get the cage again and make it work. Also, I thought it would help her control her bladder better so she doesn't pee all the time. But it seems like it's going to be a little challenge until she is ok with it. She will stay in there as long as the door is open but once you close it she doesn't like that. |

I LOOOVE the pictures of Gizmo. Soo cute. I gotta get mine hats too. :-) What sucks is that it's SOOO hot in Vegas so I can't dress the dogs up. Can't wait for winter time to come! How's the weather in Texas? Got the cage and will be working on it. She likes to be free so it will be a little challenge. I just spoke with the vet I took her to last and he said to continue the Orbax for an additional 2 weeks even though she is doing better so that's what I'm going to do. I think I shouldn't have had her eat some human food that she has last night coase she threw up today. But the coughing is sooo much better and I hope it continues that route. :-) How does Gizmo do in the cage? Did it take him a long time to get used to it? |

I got her a cage again and will be trying to get her used to that so I don't have to worry about the courts. :-) |
Hi Samantha! I am so glad that Baby is continuing to improve. Keep using the Orbax for the whole time! Don't feel too badly about the poop issue during the night. I'm sure she understands, and you'll know better next time. I think you need to take them out a couple of times during the night to poop and pee. I'm sure their small bladders can't hold that much until they get more mature. When you say cage, do you mean an Xpen? Is it large enough for a pee pad on one side and a little bed on the other? I have Gizzy in a playpen at night with his bed, food, water, and a pee pad. He sleeps through the night now, but he is always right next to me in the bedroom. He seems to be okay if he can see me and smell me. I hope that helps a little. Maybe you'll get some better ideas here. Gizzy says thanks for saying his pictures are cute! We only wear that little shirt and hat in the air conditioned house for short periods of time. It is far too hat to take him anywhere with clothes on. Have a great evening! Keep us updated okay? |
Yea...so happy Baby is doing better...i'm sure it's the combination of Orbax and time, so finish the entire prescription, I know 4 weeks seems like a long time. But we want her to be 100% over this, no going back. How big is your cage, and is it open enough on all sides, that she can see out, we used a ferret cage for Winston, with the top off, so we could easily reach in and pick him up or put him down in it. Also put a vinyl pad on the bottom "pee proof" and his blankie, he settled right down in it from the beginning. Carried it from room to room, next to the bed (my side) at night, in the kitchen while we were gone at work and in the living room at all other times. Tiring, but it worked wonders. He is still at 3 years old confined to the kitchen, by baby gates, when he is alone...we don't need the cage any more he just jumps in his bed and sleeps (I assume) while we're gone. Give Baby a big kiss from Winston and I...and keep on feeling good Baby!!! |

I haven't ued the nebulizer yet because she is dolng great right now. I'm going to the vet today to pick up more Orbax to last 2 more weeks. The vet says that even though she sounds good continue the whole 4 weeks. So I'm going to do that and then see her improvments and if she still needs the breathing treatments. Both dogs sneeze A LOT. I don't know what they are allergic to. I thought it was the "smelly powder" you put in the carpet and vaccum and took that away and shampood the carpet but that wasn't it because they still sneeze. The sound of sneeze sounds better than the sound of cough to me though so I won't complain too much yet. :-) |
I am starting to think about reporting these people, the people I got Baby from. Things just do not make sense with them... I just don't want to cause drama around me but I am starting to feel that they are bad people who are just after money and lie, lie and lie. Their lies just don't add up. Do you guys think I should report them? |
You know how I feel sweetie. I have always thought you needed to report them. If you contact the Nevada SPCA I mentioned in one of my first posts, they can help you figure out how and what to report. What the puppy mill breeder and that broker couple do is just wrong! If you want more people to respond to this question, you might start a new thread. Most people won't read through a long thread like this unless they know your story. Hugs to you and Baby! |
Samantha...I have to agree 100% with Judy, do the right thing to stop this from happening to other defenseless little puppies. If you can prevent even one other person from going through the he!! that you and Baby did it will be worth it. Not to mention the mommy dogs that are being literally tortured to keep producing more and more puppies. I knew from the beginning of this that you questioned them and their procedures...you knew if you returned Baby to them, she would not be taken care of...she would have been euthanized...to save money. Sorry to say this is a huge racket and they will be difficult to stop, but at the very least this should be reported...do it...please!!! |

I think I'm going to do it anonymously. I'm trying to find out if they have any puppies right now though. If they get a visit it won't show much unless they have puppies for sale... |
How is your little darling doing today? It's a good idea to have proof, not just accusations! |
