| Xena's in the hospital! Please bare with me so I can express my story to you understanding yorkie lovers and hopefully feel a little better. This past Tuesday night after a day of completely normal behavior, Xena vomited (which she has never done) and then was all stumbly and skittish. After two doses of Nutrical and some yogurt with no improvement, I took her to the emergency vet at midnight. They kept her overnight on IV fluids and did blood work that all came back normal. They discharged her Wednesday morning at 11:00am and said she was back to normal and that she must have had an allergic reaction to something. I was to watch her closely. Wednesday and Thursday she was her regular, happy self. Well today when I woke up, her Expen was covered in urine and runny feces (again, that NEVER happens) and she just laid there instead of running around like she normally does. She couldn't stand on her hind legs, almost like they were numb or something and she seemed very tired. So of course I took her back to the emergency room and now she is there again getting more tests, like Parvo and a bile acid test (which I requested). She has been the picture of health ever since we got her. This has happened so suddenly and I am scared. She is 8 1/2 months and weighs 5.5lbs.

| Poor little Xena...I hope they find the cause of this, and that she'll be back home with you soon, feeling so much better. I do know how you feel...I told my husband when Winston was at the vet's all day Thursday, that the silence was deafening...the house was eerily quiet without him. Sending thoughts and prayers that all will be back to normal very soon. Please do keep us updated, or if you just need to vent...it's okay...we're here for you.

| sorry to hear about xena i hope she feels, better. i have been going through very hard times with bobby a 7 month yorkie he's been in the hospital since last week and i just got him back home. he also started with vomiting and was very weak, not able to stand up and his had was just down at all time. he's a little better. i would recomend for you to take xena to a specialist or internal medecine vet, they have more experience and they should know what to do. bobby was at the hospital from wed, last week until monday this week and at the hospital they couldn't find out what was wrong with him they did so many test i cant even remember their names, they even told me that i might have to put him to sleep. so i took him to a specialist and he was release on friday, he's still a lil down but the specialist told me that he'll get better in a couple of days. hope my bad experience and the emergency hospital helps you.. i'll be praying for ur baby.. |

| Any word from the vet yet? Sometimes the waiting and not knowing is so difficult. Still hoping and praying Xena will be well soon.
