Tinks surgery So happy to hear that Tink's surgery went well and she will not need surgery on her other hip. Sending prayers for her speedy recovery. Jay:) |
Glad to hear Tink did well. You must be very relieved. Thank Goodness!! |
Charlie and I are so happy to hear that sweet Tink (he has a secret crush on Tink...get's mooney when he sees her picture) is on the road to recovery. Glad you will be with her tomorrow and imagine it will take some adjustment for her to walk, etc. Hope you bought something wonderful for you and Tink. Thinking of you - Deborah and Charlie |

Well, I didn't get the sheets. They sold out by noon. That was the first time I'd been to Tuesday Mornings and didn't realize how that works. So I went to PetsMart and got her a new frog (fleece squeeker toy she loves) and some more refills for her everylasting treat ball and I'm ordering her a new T-shirt from somewhere tonight! :p  I'm so glad she is going to be OK. I have to say I was pretty worried about her. I've grown accustomed to her face. It alwyas makes the day begin! ;) |
Imagine it is very quiet this evening without Tink. Sleep well and she will be back with her Momma tomorrow. Will check your thread tomorrow (early afternoon) to see how Tink is feeling. |
Tink will be home soon! She'll be so excited to see you when you go pick her up. good luck with her treatments and if you ever have any questions feel free to ask :) |
Yea!!! You get to bring her home today!!! I think you are using this surgery as an excuse to shop, young lady!! If you are still in the shopping mood, there are a couple of things I would like. :D Well, I will just wait patiently for an update of Tink. Isn't it quiet and lonely without our little companions home? If I had to do without my little pals, I really don't know what I would do. I'm not even going to think about it! |
YAY! Feel better soon Tinky! And mom, breathe, breathe, breathe ...:) Thoughts and prayers for you both. |
YAY!!! TINK!!!! Feel better soon and make Mommy spoil you even more!!! :animal36 |
Yay, i'm glad Tink's surgery went so well! I get to pick my baby up at 4:30 and i'm so excited to see how he is! |
I am glad everything went ok with Tink. You will be surprised by how quickly she will be back on her feet. Trace had his Legg Perthes surgery and was up and around the next day and he would have been the first day if I would have let him. They let me take him home right after surgery. Tink will be just fine, you will see. |
YAY... Tink's nearly home! Hope everything is okay! :D |
Susie I hope all is well I looked at the clock and it is almost 11:00 I hope all goes well with pick up. I'll check back in after my Dr app at 1:30 to see how all is. Lori And Bre are Praying for you Tink and Kodi and Daisy Both send get well Kisses. |
Tink is home! Wow! She is doing so well. She was so excited to see me at the surgeon's. He was holding her so she wouldn't hurt herself. She has a very nice incision on her hip. Her little leg is all naked! Her front leg is partially maked from the IV and a place on her spine from the catheter. But she actually looks really well. When I got her home, she walked over to her piddle pad, peed, walked down the hall and pooed on the carpet:rolleyes:, went to the kitchen and ate an entire bowl of food, walked into her crate, laid down and went to sleep. It took me a while to clean the carpet 'cause it was not nice poo. And now I'm posting that life is good at the Tinkhouse! The surgeon said he was certain she would regain full use of her leg because she is so active and young. He was suprised that she was using it so much already! She goes back in 7 days for her checkup. I do therapy with her twice a day. And she has paid meds!:D Oh, she just got up, walked out of her crate and laid on the floor, got back up and went back into the crate and laid on her other side. Now she's looking at me as if to say, "Mom, can we cuddle?" So, I gotta go!;) Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I think she's gonna be just fine.:) |
YAY! So glad to hear this. They are resilient little devils, aren't they?;) |
3 Attachment(s) Here are some pics of her. And that previous post was supposed to say she has pain meds although they are paid for! One of her "poodle" leg, one of the incision and one of the bill! |

oh i'm so glad to hear tink is doing so well at home!!!! She looks good and the incision looks good. I'm sure she'll make a speedy recovery! |
Ouch is right and I am not talking about the incision. Why was the bill so much? Our surgery cost a little over 600.00. |
