| I pray you find the answer to her behavior. I hope you do have an emergency vet nearby, just in case, for tonight and Sunday. I truly hope it's nothing serious, but I would keep some karo syrup on hand, just in case it is low blood sugar. You and Brooke will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please have a good night...

| Oh my goodness! I hope you find out soon what's wrong, and what can be done to help Brooke. How frightening and heartbreaking. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and little Brooke.

| Hi Fam I'm kinda new on this site and just wanted your opinion. Our Twups (Maxi and Mysian) are 2 years old. I'm thinking of adding a 3 year old yorkie to our mix (a rescue, but I know the previous owners quite well - that's a long story) Anyway, has anyone ever added a yorkie to the family fun? I'd love to say that my boys are balanced and well behaved - the truth of the matter is that they run our household and control every decision that we make. You folks are awesome and I'm so glad to know that I'm not at all strange with my Twups. Blessings Twupsmom |

| Prayer going up for Brooke. I can't imagine how scarey this was for you! I pray that it's something that can be treated and that Brooke will be back to normal quickly. What a good, loving Mommy you are!

| Alright: we were at the vet forever today! This is going to go one of two ways. Even though Brooke was treated for roundworm five times like normal, the vet said she still may have roundworm which in turn would be causing her seizures and such. That is the best prognosis. The second thing he said is after running her blood panel, is that one of the three things he looks at in regards to liver functioning was abnormal. Normal range stopped at 75, she was at 122..he said not to panic yet. However, we couldn't get a stool sample to him today to check for roundworm because she had to fast, and our vet is 40 min away, so she didn't go to the bathroom today or we could have gotten it there. Basically, he is telling us that she could possibly have a liver shunt. This is devastating news to us, because we can not feasibly afford treatment without taking loans out. If I have to, and her surgical prognosis is good, then that is exactly what I will do within reason. I love Brooke with all my heart and I will do what I can for her. In the mean time, we had to switch her to a prescription diet low in protein, and we cannot give her anymore vaccines (even rabies ) because he said it shocks her immune system too much and could throw her into another seizure. This is all very frigtening to me, especially considering me and my husband are both young and don't have an indispensible amount of income. Just today, our bill was around 200$..and we are looking at hundreds more just in tests. This doesn't even begin to account for any surgical work. But, I am surprisingly okay, because I have spent all day praying that my little girl has roundworm. So, please if any of you have spare time..I ask that you pray for the same thing. I will update as soon as I can, I have to wait for the roundwork test..and you will all find out soon enough. Also, if any of you have gone through liver shunts, and could offer words of encouragement that will really help. Thanks alot,Renee, Jeff, and Brooke

| I'm so sorry to hear about your's and Brook's difficulties. I hope it's just ringworm and nothing more serious. It's so hard when these little ones are ill. It just breaks your heart. I'll send good thoughts and prayers your way. Best of luck, hang in there.
