| Lexxi just had a seizure She actually came through it and seems "fine" right now, but it took alot out of me so I came here to vent. It is so scary to watch her like that and I usually have my husband here to help cause I am a baby and feel like I can't do it. Some of you know, but she has hydrocephalus and is the cause of her seizures and this also makes her blind. Bless her heart. Usually she clusters, but she seems to have stopped on her own!! I called the dr and said i was on my way in but she stopped. I'm so glad. I had the dr on one phone and my husband on the other and her in my arms! Gave her some phenobarbital and then some Bryers natural vanilla ice cream to boost her sugar and now she is eating! I'm shocked but thankful she is ok....for now... Thanks for listening...my heart was pounding!

| omg!! You are a brave heart! I would've probably cried my eyes out! I'm glad she is doing fine.. did you make an appointment with the vet to double-check if everything's fine? or did the doctor tell you that she will be fine when you were on the phone with him?

She is still doing well. I panic everytime so I had her in my arms and the phone to my ear telling the vet I was on my way!! Because she usually clusters and doesn't stop! But she did and is fine tonight.....If she has anymore, I will bring her in to they can medicate intraveniously. I had to be brave because my hubby was at work! Trust me, I was exhausted afterwards and shaking like a leaf! *sigh*

| I'm sorry. Lexxi is my 3 yr old Maltese. She is less than 5 lbs now. She is a sweet girl with unfortunate health problems but we love her and we know we have done everything possible for her - so we are glad she came to our family instead of maybe another who may not have been able to afford what we've been through. Plus we are home most days with her and that eases our minds.

| Do you know if there could be a cure for this? Poor baby. I hate knowing they are having problems that can't be corrected. Big hugs to you both. |
