| I think you were referring to me right? Not the previous poster...Cody is doing ok. He ended up pooping out a very large piece of green plastic exactly like what he pooped out initially when I first got him. The poor little guy had this plastic in him for over a month. Well...he started improving after he passed that. I also got an xray to make sure there was nothing else in him, the vet didn't find anything. His poop has never been totally back to normal, IMO. He had very runny poop today, but I thought it may have been because he got a rabies shot 2 days ago. I'm so frustrated. The vets don't know whats wrong. I may take him to another vet to get a separate opinion. We also dewormed him and treated him again for coccidia just in case. Nothing shows up in his stool sample. The vet doesn't seem to think that the plastic in his stomach did any permanent damage becuase it was very soft and didn't have any sharp edges. Anyway...keep praying for him!!! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I wonder if some kind of fiber supplement could help - or canned pumpkin? I feel so bad for this little fella and I hope he improves. It seems there should be some sort of answer for you!
