Thanks girl! She just had her next dosage of antibiotics this morning and seems to be keeping them down so I am hoping she will start to perk up soon!

Thank you! I was hoping she would be all better today, it did take Jaden a few days to start feeling better though and she's even smaller so I suppose it could take longer for her. I will give her lots of kisses and hugs just from you guys! Thank you so much for your concern!

I am so glad that Bobbi is all better now! I hate it when they can't tell what is wrong with them, I guess it is just like humans though, sometimes you just don't know and have to treat them symptomatically.
I will be praying for Bobbi's surgery on Tuesday! Teeth pulling is never fun!! I know how worried you must be! I don't like going to the Dentist myself so tell Bobbi I feel for him but to be brave boy and not to worry that the vets will take VERY good care of him and he will feel much better when it's all done
Thank you sweetie

I know Jewy will get better soon.......it will take a few days to get rid of the bug but the antibiotics are godsent........you have Jaden's recovery as proof

Hugs,

Jess

It sounds like she is doing alittle better which is great.
Hopefully resting today and keeping liquids in her she'll
be back to normal in a day or so.
There are so many pets sick lately, children as well.
All have stomach bugs.
Fell better sweetie.

Hugs from us,
Thank you Carol! She is doing a little better this morning than she did last night. At least she hasn't vomitted yet and I am so very thankful for that!
She's going to be getting the royal treatment and I am so hoping she will be back to normal in a day or so. I wish I knew what it was that was going around everywhere Thank you for the well wishes Carol.
Hugs and kisses to Buddy!

Thank you Linda! You all have been so wonderful! I have been a total mess and you guys just make everything seem better!
I will make sure she stays hydrated. So far she seems to be getting water by herself but if she doesn't I havea syringe and pedialyte and gatorade and I will make sure she drinks something!

Oh my, what a tiny baby. I would have been worried sick also. When Piper was little she was very tiny for months. I tried feeding her anything she might eat. I figured at that size anything was better than nothing. She loved cooked carrots with brown sugar. The vet said it was fine to feed her some.
Although, Piper was sick, thats why she was small, your Jewelina seems that she will just be a little thing. She is so precious, I'm sending prayers her way.

I thought perhaps that may have been why she vomitted last night. She had to have her first dosage but didn't really eat very much at all and then she got sick I don't know, I'm hoping that was the reason why and maybe since she ate this morning and had her pill right afterwards it won't bother her tummy. She does like Chicken breast, I've been boiling that with white rice and mixing in a little of the yogurt Jodie suggested and offering that to her. Jaden likes cottage cheese but I have never tried it with Jewelina. I will have to go to the store and pick up some today and see if she feels like eating any of that.
Thank you so much!

Thanks girl! I know, I keep telling myself that Jaden got better fast so she will too! It's just hard to think that way sometimes. I'm always preparing myself for the worst of things and worrying myself to death
Thanks for the positive thoughts girl, I will try my best to keep them in my mind today
Hugs back at ya!

I was watching Animal Planet, and they had a sick ferret on there. Anyway, the vet fed him canned pumpkin pie filling (not just the canned pumpkin, but the filling) because in addition to it being high fiber, it has sugar and eggs in it, so it is nutritious, but it helped pass on through whatever was making him sick. I wonder if something like that would help Jewelina. Poor little thing. I hope she's all done with her vomiting. Hopefully she got out whatever is bothering her little tummy.

We'll keep her in our thoughts and prayers...hoping that the worst has passed.

Yes, she is an itty bitty thing. I looked up her records, as I thought she was 1 pound 9 ounces when I got her but she was actually only 1 pound 6 ounces...and that was, let's see almost 13 weeks ago, and now she weighs 1 ounce more than she did then She hasn't really grown at all. Her colors have been changing and her coat has gotten longer but she has stayed really small. My vet says because she is so fine boned and petite she will probably just stay small and he thinks she might mature at 2 pounds, now he's not even sure if she'll get there or not but hoping after this sickness is gone she'll put some weight back on and get closer to 2 pounds again! She was 1 pound 11 ounces before she got sick and that's only a few ounces away from being 2 pounds. She is normally a really good eater but I guess this bug is just making her feel bad...I've been there before too, sometimes you just don't feel like eating and I sympathize with her because I know I wouldn't want to be forced to eat if I felt bad but with her, if she doesn't want to eat, I really don't have a choice but to force her
I will keep the carrots and brown sugar in mind, I'ev not tried that before and maybe she would like it.
Thank you so much for all of your help!

Thank you Misty! Jewelina loves Pumpkin so maybe she would like the filling! I'm heading to the store today to pick up some cottage cheese and carrots and will add that to my list! Anything that she'll eat on her own I'll give to her. I hate having to force feed her and I think the pumpkin might help calm her tummy a little too! Thank you so much for suggesting that!

I hope she gets better soon. One thing it might help to keep in mind is mixing food. Sometimes they don't like it mixed - just a little quirk some have. You could separate it on the little plate and then you can see if she likes one thing better than another.

Mine are that way. I can't mix anything. Peas on 1 side, cooked carrots on the other, chicken in the middle, a little rice off to the side. I though mine were picky, they are just normal. LOL

If you lived closer I would help run to the store for you. I think your on the other side of the state.
