Poor little guy, I just hate when they aren't feeling well. Hopefully it is just from trauma from the trip. Take care sweet Simon, and mommy too!

Thank you all

Simon is home with me for the night but the vet wants him back there tomorrow. He got an IV of fluids, a shot of Pepcid, an xray (that didn't show any abnormalities, yay) and some anitbiotics. His blood work should be back tomorrow morning at 9am. If he gets sick tonight he will get the barium test tomorrow.

I am feeding him a teaspoon of I/D food every hour and a half mixed with warm water and he seems to be holding that down. Actually he seems to be really hungry and it makes me sad that I can't give him a bunch of food. Right now he is laying next to his empty food bowl staring at it and it's breaking my heart

I'm sure I will be up all night just staring at him so I'll keep giving updates!

Oh and Hallie had a good day, she was working at the front desk when I got there to pick them up.

I'm so sorry Simon is in the hospital, it is an awful feeling having to leave them. Hoping is is better real soon, my prayers are with you both.

I know it stinks when you can tell they are hungry, but you can't give them too much at a time because you know they'll get sick...At least he's keeping his food down though

Hopefully the blood results will show that it was nothing serious, and he just had an upset tummy. Yes, please give us updates.

a little TLC and simon will be chasing that soccer ball like nothing was wrong

glad to hear he is improving.. i hope you both manage to get some sleep tonight and let us know how things go tomorrow at the vet!

I know what you are going through, we went through similar with Wrigley a week ago! I'm glad he's eating. I/D food is what Wrigley went home with and she did get the barium test because the X-ray showed a blockage with her. She's doing great and I'm sure your little guy will be soon!
