| I am so very terribly sorry On a side note, I am so glad that you mentioned here what the vet told you. There was a thread not too long ago where I got chewed out because I mentioned that some foods have way too much protein for our little ones. Some jumped my throat saying that they are so little etc and their protein should be high.........I just kept my mouth shut. Thank you for passing on your knowlege and I hope many do read this and ask questions. You are such a great mommy. Zeus is going to be watching over you from rainbow brige **hugs** Jess

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I haven't read about to much protein. What were you feeding Zeus? So to much chicken ect, is actually bad. Does anyone know the recommended amount of protein a day? Thankyou for the information. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

| I am so sorry about your loss. Having to make the decision to let our babies go is one of the hardest decisions we can make. I had to make that decision last June about our Black Lab. He had been sick since March and we had invested several thousand dollars during that time frame, trying to nurse him back to health. He had something that had a name a mile long, but basically it was killing his platelets. He started off with a spot bleeding on his gum. We thought it was dental and took him to the vet the next day. That's when they sent us to Vet Specialist and they found it. In the end his organs began shutting down and the vet said there was nothing else they could do. SO we made that decision. Just know there are people praying for you and your family through this. Keep us updated on the rest of the family, and God bless you. |
