I am so sorry about your loss. Having to make the decision to let our babies go is one of the hardest decisions we can make. I had to make that decision last June about our Black Lab. He had been sick since March and we had invested several thousand dollars during that time frame, trying to nurse him back to health. He had something that had a name a mile long, but basically it was killing his platelets. He started off with a spot bleeding on his gum. We thought it was dental and took him to the vet the next day. That's when they sent us to Vet Specialist and they found it. In the end his organs began shutting down and the vet said there was nothing else they could do. SO we made that decision.
