Why is it not okay to give the colored pedialyte?

I took Cole to the vet today. He told me that Cole was having an issue with his large intestine which is why there was blood and mucus. He said that it is also typical with this sort of issue that he seems fine in every other aspect except his stools. He thinks it is either a parasite or an infection. He gave me medicine for Giardia as well as for parasites. I also will keep him on the W/D prescription food until it clears up. Hopefully he is on the road to recovery!!!

YT is so fantastic! My 13 yr old had bloody stools more then a few times last year or so. I immediately thought cancer (she is old, lived her life etc). Since I have not seen it in a long, long time I felt much better. Not as good as reading this though!

PS: I really didnt think remission so in the back of my mind, I just needed one more thanks to Jesus.

this is good to hear! at least now your baby is on meds and will feel lots better. ... and just wait til you see a good solid poop! you'll be so happy!! hahaha .. i know from experience b/c i jumped for joy at the first one! hahaha it just means they are getting better! keep us posted!

Ladies and Gentleman....we have solid poop!!! I have never been so excited to see poop! I just want to thank everyone for their support and advice. YT is the best!
