| Thanks for the tip! How much do your girls weigh? Great idea, I've never thought about feeding Lily right away when we wake up. Makes sense, since they're so small that their energy & blood sugar can be depleted quickly!

| I agree, getting something in their tummy in the morning is important. Peanut use to throw up the foam/ bile- usually in the morning or sometimes he wouldn't eat all his lunch and he would throw up when I got home from work. Now I always make sure before I leave for work he has something in his tummy. I will usually give him a little shredded boiled chicken. Just a little mixed in with maybe a tablespoon of kibble helps so much. I can leave knowing he has something in that tummy. You can also sprinkle coconut chips in their kibble, I do this sometimes instead of the chicken- Just for a different taste. The other day.. I think it was Monday. I came home from work to find Peanut shaking and acting off- DH said “ He didn't eat his lunch and he won’t take anything from me” So of course I had to drop everything and get something in that belly- Well I didn't have any chicken so I took a tablespoon of his kibble, a little shredded cheese with a little yogurt and mixed it all together. Thankfully he ate it up and within 5 mins he was his normal self! With the smaller babies, Under 4 pounds- It is so important they eat!!

| Buddy has been vomiting up simple foamy saliva and has been doing short gagging coughs... I've given him a little something before bed and he's stopped for now. I hope it won't happen again. And thanks so much to whoever suggested feeding him something before bed. |

| My boy used to do it after chewing on the bully stick too! I think maybe bc it causes a lot of saliva production? |

| I love it when I read a thread... get ready to put my 2 cents in and see it is from 10 years past lol But... it is still good information on the thread so all is good!! I wanted to add... I always offer some food in the morning because an empty tummy will produce foamy throw up. If it happens a lot through out the day it should be checked out by vet.
