thanks for the response..Yes, she is little she is 1.5 lbs I'm taking her in for another breathing treatment today so i'm going to get her checked out again.She is acting MUCH better today. I'm feeling much better than I was a day ago!

Awww, what a cutie!!!! I'm sorry that she's been sick, hopefully with your loving care she'll be 100% really soon.

I bought my baby from a petstore too, and she was very ill and is now all better. It's hard to see them feeling so terrible

What's her name, btw?

some times it starts out a little scary but You are doing great !

I agree - a lot of medications - antibiotics, pain medications, etc., can cause constipation. But - this shouldn't be let go on for very long. If your pup doesn't go to the bathroom soon - check with your vet. This is just another problem that he knows how to take care of.

Hi There, I'm so sorry you pup is sick...I'm glad she is on the mend, your doing a great job.

I got my baby from a pet shop too... he has been healthy so far (He is 7 months now) Your baby is tiny! It must be scarey to have to nurse such a small one back to health! Keep up the good work... Sorry your baby came to you sick, not a fun way to start off!

Wow..I am so impressed by all of the wonderful advice and support I have received for me and my new pup! I want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart to all who responded...my puppie "Gidget" is doing alot better today. She was giving lots of kisses to me and my daughters this evening and even playing a little..Still no potty but I am giving her a little pumpkin tomorrow as someone suggested and waiting it out till Monday when I see the vet again.

A little bit of mineral oil ...capful poured into her food will help it..."slide" out....

Just keep a good eye on her. I always wish people would really not buy from pet stores....but at least you are being responcible and getting her the best care possible. It sounds like she is on the road to a beautiful recovery.

Hi everyone,
Gidget is doing much better..I gave her alot of water and "puppyaide" in a syringe yesterday and this morning and she finally pooped!! Thank god.
We are taking her to the vet tomorrow just for a follow up for the kennel cough.
This week has been crazy! i'm gonna chill tonight in a bubble bath with the trashiest tabloid I can find!!
