| I'd call the vet and ask. They may want to see him, may not. But at least you'll know something, right? I know, I'm no help, sorry I hope that he's back to normal soon! Tracy and Luna |

| Did you find anything out about your yorkie? Mine has been doing it for the last couple of hours, and it is just as you described, licking and gasps. It takes him forever to get comfortable and when he finally does, he can doze off....But when he is awake he goes right back to the constant licking and gasping. I read a little bit on what it could be, and I read that if someone on your family has strep throat that you could actually give it to yor dog, and they could have "strep throat" as well. I plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow, but was hoping maybe you had a little insight. Hope your little guy is feeling better.

| romeo had hiccup episodes as a pup. the vet said because he was growing. it doesn't make any sense to me, but that's what she said.

| What the heck are greenies? I guess if I don't know, then the answer is probably no... He is finally sleeping now. Seems more comfortable. Hopefully get through the night peacefully, and take him to the vet in the morning.

| Hi, Sorry it took so long to respond to everyone. Dex is fine and the hiccups are just like a real babies he literally had bad gas.. i had to give him Baby Mylacon. it cleared him right up. Dex does not get greenie's as it is to harsh on a yorkies system and they do not break down completely and there are far to many cases of impaction do to them being stuck and i never want to put my baby through a surgery.. thanks everyone for the concern.. |
