| Try some canned pumpkin; not too much, then get her to the vet to make sure it's nothing serious. Good luck! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I believe pumpkin is for constipation. I would give her boiled hamburger or chicken and rice and make sure she stays hydrated. Nutrical will also help. If she isn't better soon I would take her in to the vet. Good luck.

| OMG, I'm so sorry. I could have sworn I read the pumpkin was for diarrhea. Forgive my ignorance. Guess I should leave the doctoring to the professionals! Hope your baby is better soon. |

| Roxy got sick two more times last night but seems to be ok so far today. If she gets sick again I'm taking her to the vet in the morning. She's eating, drinking and playing like normal so we'll see! thanks for all the advice.

| Canned pumpkin is good for regulating the digestive tract, so it is proper for diarrhea or constipation, but I actually prefer it for constipation and use boiled skinless chicken (easy to digest) and cooked white rice (firms the stools) for diarrhea. I also give Pedialyte if the diarrhea is frequent. Like others have said though diarrhea is a symptom of many things. Don't let it go on very long (48 hours maximum, and that's if all seems well and he is eating and drinking) without taking a fecal sample in to be analyzed for parasites. The main risk of diarrhea is becoming dehydrated so push the fluids, low sodium chicken broth is good. |
