would this be considered a puppy mill? i dont know much about the breeding and such just what i seen online the last few days..all my animals have been given to me as rescues she was the only dog i have ever purchased.
This definitely sounds like a puppy mill. Go to a breeder who only breeds yorkies.... or one who doesn't have so many. Wow! 150! That's way too much! I'm sure there are some breeders on YT or people who can recommend some good breeders.

Glad you are getting your money back. Lil Britches would be glad too. I'm sure she's really grateful for the loads of love you gave her in the short time you were together. She couldn't have had a better mommy to be at her side and fight for her like you did. Good for you. May the Lord shine His blessings down upon you.:tinyheart

I am so sorry your baby lost her fight. You did everything you could for her. You have a pretty awesome vet. And you are an angel to do what you do for all those unwanted pets. Can I come live at your house?

I'm very deeply sorry for the loss of your puppy!
This breeder needs to be shut down! I'm sure glad you were able to get a refund, but please do not get another baby from her!

I'm so sorry you lost your puppy ......

after reading where you bought your yorkie - I do feel you did go to someone who probably doesn't care at all about where the puppies go or what happens to them. Back 11 years ago when my husband and I purchased Tessa - my cocker - I now know that was a small puppy mill too. It was really horrible and I can still hear the really loud barking in my head. All I wanted to do was get her out of there and love her. She was lucky - all she had wrong is a very bad underbite....nothing like what your puppy had.

im so sorry for being so slow i have had family and neighbors come in and out this afternoon..they come to check on me.. i dont have any children so when i loose a pup or animal its like loosing a kid. and plus she has had family and neighbors researching and helping her too. so there also upset..

Even a breeder who breed only Yorkies can run a puppymill . I knew a Yorkie breeder and she had 200 little ones caged in a shed in her backyard .

Me too, I didn't know humans could get it. But I guess why not, if we can get other diseases from dogs why not this. I always knew other dogs could get, just not humans.


Niteshade, I am so sorry for your loss. I am suprised the breeder is giving you back the money, most unreputable breeders would not. And it is a puppy mill. Either way, you didn't deserve to fall in love with a puppy only to have her die shortly after you got her. I would have been soooo angry with the breeder. You are not alone, several people have had the same thing happen to them. You live and learn. Once again I am so sorry you had to go through this, I hope you can one day again get a baby from a good reputable breeder who will bring you lots of love and joy for years to come!!
When you are ready for another baby, do your research and ask anyone here on YT for advice for looking for a good reputable breeder who will give you a beautiful healthy puppy.

I am sorry for your loss :( I just went through this a few weeks ago with my little girl and I can tell you the people here at yt are amazing. My baby was also 9 weeka old and was at the vet for the 6 days I had her. What state did you buy her from? My breeder is refusing me a refund saying its not their fault and has not offered me another pup (not that i would take another one from them).

OMG!! Coccidia is very contagious and how on earth can all these animals not become infected. I also feel as others do that her condition was probably also a hereditary liver problem. Bad Breeding!!!!

I would make darn sure that everyone in the area knew what this woman was doing and try to put a stop to her operation. If only by word of mouth. How many more owners and puppies, dogs, will suffer if no one tries to stop her.

I think we should all go picket in front of her house.:mad: :mad: :mad:
I want to go hug all her babies so they can get some human loving!!!!

Can you turn the bad breeder in to autorities? If your dog has coccidia and other problems you know all 150 of those dogs are suffering from coccidia and who knows what else. Poor babies. :(

I am so very sorry for your loss :( , and im hoping that someone will be able to close this puppy mill down, those poor dogs :mad: . I wish you all the luck in the world if you do decide to get another pup :thumbup:

I just want to say you are one of God\'s angels. God bless you for all you do for your precious animals. I am so very sorry. I just lost one breech, but do have a little girl. May God bless you and comfort you. I know he will see you through this.
