| Not wanting to eat? I picked my baby up today from her spay appointment, everything went well but she has 2 pink bandages on her back paws, one on each since she got her 2 duclaws removed. She also has at least 12 baby teeth still in that need to get pulled but the vet told me they didn't want to keep her sedated for that long since there were so many. She told me that they should be all out by now? Diamond is just about 7 months. All she wants to do is sleep and she doesn't want to eat? Should I be feeding her something differently than her food? She won't eat treats or her food. She did drink water and I gave her some Nutrical. Any ideas? Or should I just wait until tomorrow?

| she's probably still groggy from her surgery and wants to sleep rather than eat. I would just keep trying with the nutrical every now and then and make sure she has her water - but let her sleep too, lots of rest will speed up her recovery. I'm sure she'll have her appetite back by tomorrow.

| I agree, as long as she is drinking and you're giving her a tad of Nutrical 3 times a day she's fine to wait on the eating. Poor baby! Get well soon. |

| She definitely won't have much of an appetite following the anesthesia. Hopefully, the vet gave he some pain meds also which will keep her sleepy and not hungry. I agree that sleep will help her heal, but a little Nutrical is a good idea also. I'm sure you will see a different pup in the morning. Her paws might be a little sore after having the dewclaws removed.
