| I have no experience with that particular operation, but I wanted you to know that I'll be thinking about you. Good luck!

| Kobe had kidney stones about 3 yrs ago. He was at the vets for a couple of days. They had to insert a catheter in him so that the stones could get thru. That is when we found out that he had a liver shunt problem. Luckily his is not severe and has been controlled thru his diet. |

| My 3 year old Tucker had surgery for this about 2 years ago, he did well- don't be worried. He had many other medical problems also, including a large liver shunt, so I'm sure your baby will be fine!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali was at the ER vet today because she has been on medicine for an urinary Tract Infection and seemed to be getting worse. Very lethargic and will not jump up on her stairs. They did an ukrasound of her bladder and kidneys but didn't find any. She said she did a rectal do see if there were any hiding in her urethra. They didn't see any. I asked if it could be due to her Liver shunt problem and they don't think so. She saod that they can tell by the type of stone whether it is related to LS. She said LS stones are usually ammonia something. They are culturing hre urine and did blood work. Do thye know what type Brittany's is, had she been diagnosed with LS. I wil keep her in my prayers for a quick recovery. Can I ask what her symptoms were and how they diagnosed it.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Never had the problem with mine, but I got the chance to watch a bladder stone surgery years ago. The stone was the size of an egg. I cannot remember the breed of dog it was (maybe a mixed) but the dog was a little larger than a yorkie but smaller than a cocker. Actual surgery time didn't take longer than an hour and the dog went home the next day. Hugs coming your way!

| Brittany would squat to pee then walk 3 ft squat again ,this would go on and on.I took her to te vet and he thought that it was moreof an outside infection on her private parts,After 5 days on the antibiotic she was getting worseand started peeing really dark ,I took her back tat is when they did an xray and found a stone the size of a marble, they don't know what kind it is yet because her urine was so clouded. They will send the stone away to find out ,then she will go on a special diet.Se semed fine oterwise ,playing and eating fine. She goes Tuesday morning .I am so nervous! |

| Surgery Glad Brittany did okay. Max has had bladder stone surgery twice. He got along fine. It is hard leaving them there, isn't it. Since he has been on the C/D prescription diet, he hasn't had any more problems so far and it has been a year since his last surgery. |
