| a very strong cup of coffee might have 150 mg. of caffeine. a lethal dose is 150mg/kg/body weight. So at just over 6 pounds your pup is about 3 kilograms so a lethal dose of caffeine would be about 3 cups so I don't think I would worry about a 1/2 of a cup. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | How is she doing now. Did you get in touch with your vet yet? I hope she will be fine.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | OOPs maybe try getting her to drink a lot of water in the meantime so it can be diluted in her system. Not sure if it will help but it might be worth it.

| Your puppy will be fine. I don't even what to tell you some of the things my dogs and cats have eaten or drank and never got sick from. Certainly a little child or a little dog might get hyperactive from drinking coffee - after all, they aren't used to it. My dog waits patiently at the breakfast table every morning to get any leftover cereal. Some of it has artificial sweeters - and he's never been the worse for eating this. Carol Jean |
