| Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali came to me with coccidia and kennel cough and was treated for weeks for coccidia and months for the kennel cough. She also has had 4-5 episodes of hypoglycemia one with seizure like behaviour. Twice she was admitted to er vet for IV fluids for diahrrea. I had her Bile Acid tested and she was 0/90 and 0/32 the second time. Normal is less than 15. The surgeon did a liver biopsy on her after an ultrasound didn't show an external shunt. She ended up with a very mild Micro vascular dysplasia or internal liver shunt which the surgeon said to watch her protein intake. No special meds or diet. I have had a very rough time with Cali since I got her 7 months ago but hopefully she is on the right track now. Good luck with your baby. Getting him in as soon as you did saved his life.
