Donating YT 30K Club Member | Update on Cali I just spoke to the critical care vet and she said Cali was barking her head off and will only quiet down when someone holds her. The lst Xray looked in her words less disconcerting but does not rule out a blockage. She said that they could go ahead and do surgery tomorrow to spay her , liver biopsy and look to see how the intestines look. She felt that eve though she was still in heat at least 9 days into it that I know of, that it was safe to spay her? The decision is mine, the actual board certified surgeon is going to look at the Xrays and call me so I will see what she says. I just don't know what to do, part of me is get it done so we can treat any problems right away but I am worried about her being in heat. I think I am leaning towards getting it done tomorrow if the surgeon says she feels its safe. I just want Cali back!! Please continue to keep us in your prayers taht I make the right decision and she does OK.

| My thoughts and prayers are with you and Cali...I hate it when my girls are away from me and I can't imagine how you must feel with her not being well at the same time...Lots of ((hugs))! I hope Cali makes a quick recovery and my prayers go out to you!

| Good she's barking and keeping them on their toes!! I hope that she's alright, I'm with you I think I would be leaning more towards the surgery and get it all done with one fell swoop. If she is that far into her heat and the docs think it is a good idea. I and nobody can tell you what to do - follow your heart and when you talk to the surgeon hopefully you'll get a clearer picture of what you should do. Prayers and hugs to you and your baby!! |

| My prayers are for your little Calli. I think you are wise to just go ahead and have them do the surgery. Try not to worry too much and keep us updated on her progress.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Thanks she had surgery and is coming out of the anesthesia. No obstruction but they think the liver biopsy will confirm MVD. So good news and bad! But I ust want her home!
