 Update on Cali
I just spoke to the critical care vet and she said Cali was barking her head off and will only quiet down when someone holds her. The lst Xray looked in her words less disconcerting but does not rule out a blockage. She said that they could go ahead and do surgery tomorrow to spay her , liver biopsy and look to see how the intestines look. She felt that eve though she was still in heat at least 9 days into it that I know of, that it was safe to spay her? The decision is mine, the actual board certified surgeon is going to look at the Xrays and call me so I will see what she says. I just don't know what to do, part of me is get it done so we can treat any problems right away but I am worried about her being in heat. I think I am leaning towards getting it done tomorrow if the surgeon says she feels its safe. I just want Cali back!! Please continue to keep us in your prayers taht I make the right decision and she does OK. |
