I am so sorry for your loss, I do know what it is like to loose one, but you did what was right you took her to the vet it is the vet who did not diagnose her right. If that was my vet I would see about no bill!!

I am so sorry for your loss. Just please remember that is wasn't your fault. You did everything right, the same things we all would have done here. If that vet didn't do the fecal sample and other tests he should have, then I would definately give him a phone call and tell everyone else to stay clear of the vet because he's inexperienced. But you can do all of that when you're ready to. For now just take all the time you need. I am so sorry that this happened. I know that little dog had a wonderful life with you and she adored you. You're a great yorkie mommy.

OMG, I just read this post. I cannot tell you how sorry I am to read of this death.. I want to tell you something from experience and I want you to know I truly, truly mean it. YOU ARE NOT A BAD MOM!!! Your vet was a bad vet! You loved your child and did all you as a mom could do. The vet is the one who did not do his best. I, like Pat, feel beyond sorry. We have lost loved ones and it just hurts so bad. It does get better over time but the hole they leave in our hearts and lives never gets filled. We do manage to move on with the help of God and our friends and families but it still hurts. In time, another little creature might come along and love you and adopt you. But, that will take time. Today started out as a dreary cloudy cold day here in MD and just before I read your post, the sun came out. I always cry when I look back at the holly tree where Jesse is buried and the weather is bad. I am still crying for myself and for you and your loss, but the sun is shining and the skies are blue. Rainbow Bridge has had another little set of feet running across it and there are dozens of our babies over there to welcome She-Ra. She is healthy, happy and waiting for you. God bless you in your grief..
