Need Prayers-Cali is back at the ER Vet

I just read this thread this morning.....what a relief Cali is home and in good spirits....will be saying some prayers this morning that you get the test results that you are hoping for ( we all are hoping for) give her extra hugs and kisses from us all....will be looking for an update on the test results all day!!

I called to get to get Cali's BA results and the snipy girl at the counter said that their computers were having problems and anyway the vet got bit by a dog and was at the emergency room and she has to tell me the results. So now I have to wait until 7-8 tonight and I have a concert to go to at 7 and how am I going to hear the results. I said are the results in she said yes I asked if she had seen them and she said there done. Don't you think this place would have another vet come on or be there. It's a big place. Now I'm reading all kinds of bad ideas into this.

I know it's easy to read bad things into bad treatment by a woman with a bad attitude. Please do not get worked up. Do you have a cell phone that you can give the number for to the receptionist so the doc can call you at the concert? Keep your phone on vibrate so you can feel it ring. Even if you have to leave the show to call them back, at least you will know the results tonight and see the show too.

I gave her my cell phone number and I will leave it on vibrate. I wouldn't even go to the concert but I am treating my best friend who has been really depressed lately and she is looking so forward to the '60's concert. My husband will be here with Cali.

Try really hard to have fun with your friend! It might take your mind off your Cali a little bit, but for all the worries and lost sleep you have had the past few days, you deserve a bit of a break, hon!!
