| Milo woke up screaming in pain twice this week What could it be? Once I woke him up in the middle of the night to put a sweater on him and he screamed and cried when I tried to put the sweater on him, it was freezing in the house. After I calmed him down he went back to sleep. Then to night for no apparent reason he wakes up out of a sleep screaming and screeching in pain. It took me a few seconds to calm him down and now he is sleeping on the couch peacfully. What is this? |

| This could be SO many things. He needs to be seen TODAY!! Call your vet and tell them what is going on. They should fit you in today without any issue.

| This sounds like it might be neurological but there is no way to know what it is without a physical exam. If it is something like IVDD, then there are meds that could help. Without rest and meds, those type things can get much worse. Of course, there are many other things.....but, a dog screaming like that definitely has something going on. Please keep us posted.

| Milo is resting comfortably in his oxygen cage. They absolutely adore him there so that is a plus. I know he will get the attention that he needs. No new data to report. Thank u Lady Jane for all your kind and loving thought's. Cindy, thank you for your loving thoughts. I wonder if you got my text about needing a new harness for MIlo. Do you still have his measurments? I tried to squeeze him into the one I got from you so long ago but it was so tight he started to cry, so I knew I needed a new one. Now I am wondering if putting it on him and was so tight around his chest brought on his pneumonia. I am so worried I might have caused this. Anyway Cindy, if you could get back to me on the harness I need for him (and leash) I would so appreciate it. I am not sure what he measured around the chest area back then, but I measured around 13.5 to 14 around without a sweater and with a thick sweater on which he wears alot i think it measures around 15. I would so much appreciate it if you could get back to me. I know you are busy Thanks to all for your loving thoughts- I will keep you posted |
