Glad to hear Milo is resting peacefully. I sent you a private message and my phone number. Milo's last chest measurement from March 1, 2014 was 9".

Thank You Thanks Lady Jane. I have been so anxious and depressed thinking I might have squeezed his chest too tight and that might have damaged him. I keep going over and over in my head what I did to cause this. He does not go out. He has no contact with other dogs. I even have the groomer skip baths so that he doesn't get a draft. Sometimes when it is too hot in the house I will take off his sweater and there are times he will lie on the porcelain tiles to cool himself off and I wonder could that do it? My friend said when she had pneumonia it hurt her to breathe in. Maybe that's what caused the screaming. It is hard to distract myself tonight. I am restless and anxious. I have a ton of stuff to do and I cannot do anything. I want to and I simply can't. The only thing i am doing is lying in bed and watching TV. Or wander about the house. What a waste of time. I wish I could be more centered. I wonder did he aspirate one of the little pieces of treats I was giving him after his visit with his internist? Is that what caused this? Anyway it's going to be a long night and I have butterflys in my stomach. I guess what I am trying to say in a very awkward way is THANK YOU for being there Shellie

| You won't know what caused it but know this: you didn't!!!! I cannot give you any tips on how not to worry because I would be doing everything you are doing. LOL

Just got off the phone with the doctor after rounds. She says he is out of O2 and eating and drinking. He seems comfortable. They want to keep him a day longer to continue observing him to see if he makes those screaming sounds again but he is on gabapentin so i'm wondering if that could mask the pain and we would not be able to tell where it was coming from. They are planning to send him home with ABX albuteral and his regular meds tomorrow if he does well tonight and tomorrow. Doctors still cannot identify why he was screaming, I guess I will have to live with it but I am very grateful he will hopefully be coming home tomorrow. Love, Shellie

So Milo is home his cough is really awful but he seems to be responding to the Meds. He is very fragile and requires a lot of attention but he does sleep quite a bit so that’s a blessing I think it will give him a chance to heal. Any prayers for Milo would be much appreciated. Doctor says his condition is guarded❤️

Oh my..... yes, I will say prayers for Milo. Poor guy ... I hate that he is still coughing but it may just take a bit longer for the meds to help.
