| Yorkie in need in deed Hello community my name is Berdie and my little York is named Missee. The other night I took Missee out to use the restroom and she was attack by my neighbors rott. She is fine but her right leg seems to be injured. She hops with it up in the air and sometimes I catch her walking on it. Missee is also pregnant. I can't afford to take her to the vet. I'm also new at this and I don't know what to do. Please can someone give me some advice on how to care for her please. Thank you and God bless. |

| Welcome to YT. You have an injured dog that is pregnant, no money to see a vet for this injury, so no money for pregnancy vet care. The best thing to do for this poor little soul is to surrender her to a rescue where her medical needs can be met.

| What will you do if she goes into labor & needs a C-section ? IF that leg is broken OR has a fracture & she doesn't get treatment she can get a bone infection & without treatment you will loose her & her puppies. Please get this dog to a vet ASAP. Apply for Care Credit. Maybe your neighbor could help since it was your neighbors dog that attacked your dog. Last edited by lillymae; 03-18-2017 at 01:41 AM. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hello and welcome to YT. You have an *injured* dog...a small dog who was *attacked* by a Rottie. On top of that, pregnant. You 100% absolutely MUST take this poor dog to the vet ASAP. If you cannot get the dog help, then the only right thing to do is to turn it over to a rescue who can and will care properly for this innocent dog. If *you* were attacked by an animal who tore into your leg, while you were pregnant....what would YOU want to happen to you...? Do RIGHT by this dog.

| dont understand just dont understand, I would have rushed her to the vet straight away, not hesitation. May be you can make arrangements with the vet to pay over several times, also she is pregnant, she may need a vet for this, please think of your dear little friend and put her first. |

| Yorkie in need in deed Hello I just want to let those who responded to my post, that my Missee is doing just fine. She is walking around like a champ. I had to just about threaten my neighbor to get him to pay for her vet visit or his rott was going to be put down and I really didn't want that to happen. All is well including her unborn puppies. I'm also looking into pet insurance so I will be able to take care of both my Yorkers the way they should and deserve to be. I want to thank God and all of you for your response and support. |
