You certainly can try the diet ... I think it takes a long time though and there is a risk of infections or blockage during that time. I would discuss it thoroughly with the vet.

107 barney is very knowledgeable w/stones... I've only had to deal w/ struvite crystals, which can be dissolved by liquefying their diet.

| ![]() Hi everyone I think Bella is doing MUCH better. She is back to peeing as normal so the stones probably were struvites and the food helped. The vet gave me "royal canin urinary SO" in case someone in the future experience the same issue with their Yorkie and read this message. On May 24 she'll have another x-Ray so I will know for sure if the stones are gone. Thanks ! |
