Judy, there will be bad days, and happy days, it takes a long time, and we never get over them being a major part of our life. You were an excellent provider for him and helped him over a major hurdle.

It is truly the only part of being a parent of one of these noble little guys that I hate. I am so happy to hear that God called Majic home while he was curled up comfortable and asleep. Sorry you could not be holding him, but he knew without a doubt the love that you felt for him and honestly, I would prefer that God call them home naturally than having to be there for the end.
My condolences to you. I read this thread with tears rolling for you and your loss of a great puppy warrior.

I want to stop and thank each of you that has taken your time to wish my broken heart peaceful healing and to express your sympathies....it just tears our souls apart when we loose these babies....and the older I have gotten, the harder it is to recover.....it just kills us, kills me......he was not suffering at all, and he played that day, ate his dinner well, we did his little trusting, loving eyes......and he looked up at me as I did his eyes, and I will never forget that last long gaze he gave me....so much love and devotion in that little beautiful face.....he may very well have been telling me he loved me but he had to go on......that last loving gaze from him....I will never forget that in my mind and heart....

I'm so sorry about Magic Man, Judy. You gave your boy a great life and it sounds like he dearly loved you for it. I'm so sorry you lost him before you could say goodbye, but it sounds like at least he didn't suffer when he had to leave you. Hugs, and I hope as time passes the happy memories that defined your relationship overtake the sadness of losing your little guy.

I am so very sorry for your loss of little Majic Man . My heart honestly breaks for you and the emotions you are going through right now. I am so glad that Majic Man wasn't sick and had such a full and fun life after his Mommy got him through parvo! He just eased right on over to the bridge ready to play. That is so much easier for them but so much harder to us! I lost Jingle suddenly and unexpected and honestly that to me is the hardest. We somehow prepare ourselves when they are ailing or sick, but the sudden is a gut punch. Loosing one in any way is never easy though! You are such a great and knowledgable Mommy, your babies are blessed to have you, without a doubt Majic knew it! Again I am so very sorry, you are in my thoughts and prayers! RIP little Majic Man

Again, thank you all for the beautiful, sincere, concerned and precious thoughts you have sent my way.....it is still so recent but at least I can get involved with the group again....my little boy Ty, who adores his mommy, has been absolutely distraught with my quiet, subdued, "out of the ordinary" behavior....he is such a sweetheart and he is so concerned about me....he tries to stay in my lap constantly, looking up at me and grinning....he is the only one I have that grins at me....bless his heart......it is getting more tolerable....it doesnt take my breath like it was doing.....thank you again for your kindness and well wishes....what a comfort for so many people to send strength, prayers and understanding .......

I have a few preconceived notions like any one else on forums, how someone looks and acts in "real life." You are one of the people on this board that always sticks out for me. You are a fantastic person, and a loving mother to your little guys. Every time any advice is given, I listen to it seriously.

I NEVER say I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my Mother and baby brother (in afghanistan) within a year of each other, and I'm sorry for your loss just got old. Sorry doesn't bring them back.

I hear the people that say animals aren't the same. I don't agree one Iota. They snuggle their way into your heart, and make you a better person.
My heart is breaking for you. I'm so sad for you and his litter mates that miss him. (I understand they aren't puppies) I wish you peace and happiness. I sometimes feel my mom and brother. I firmly believe that somewhere, somehow, your little man is there. Call me crazy, but I feel their presence. I'm convinced that your little man is there watching you.

I'd take away your pain if I could. I only know you from this forum, but the love you have for your fur babies shines through. He knew how much you loved him. I know how much, and I haven't been here long, either. I did this long winded post just to tell you there are people thinking of you and Majic. I hope this eases your heart- even a little.
