While in the vet's office they told me it was DEFINITELY VERY illegal to be selling puppies at under 8 weeks, and my poor baby is only 5 weeks.. they need to go down, I don't want them breeding again, total sickos

I have the persons phone number and license plate number, will that be enough to give to animal control?

Yes, that would work, but if you have their name and address, that would be helpful too. But they can find that information from the license plate number. If they simply sold you a dog out of their car and didn't provide much other information such as their name and address, they are in SERIOUS trouble.

Yes that is basically what happened, we wanted to go to their house ( Riverside area in California) but they said they would be in our area on Sunday and wouldn't mind bringing him with them, I assumed they would bring him to our house or such, but instead they gave us an address to meet them at.. turns out it was a jack in the box!

And we didn't feel comfortable leaving him with these people that only cared about money, and even though I know I shouldn't have taken him, I didn't have the heart to leave him with them..

Update on the little one.. he was 14oz when I got him.. now he weighs 1 lb 4 oz!!!!

Now I'm just deciding on a food, I tried acana and he's refusing that one lol, so I'm thinking of chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul? I have a 3 year old female also and wouldn't mind putting her on that food as well, as she is having allergies from her current food

Do they have a bag for all life stages or will I have to buy two different bags? Puppy and adult food

I would buy two different bags, unless you are ok with your female possibly putting on some weight if on the puppy food. The puppy def needs the puppy formula. Good news on the weight gain!

I'm really hoping my female will like the chicken soup for the dog lovers soul..I've tried every mid to high quality food with her and royal canine is the only one she would eat, I don't know what to do with her anymore.. such a picky little one
