3rd time then I won't say it again. (not trying to bug, just making sure you see this as I know I would be in a panic if my girls weren't eating) Did you try the Parmesan sprinkled on the food? I got that tip here on Y.T. And it works like a charm for all 3 of my girls. I would be trying all of the suggestions if my girls went off food.

No I didn't try the parm sprinkle. Teddy isn't eating because something is wrong. He normally eats very bland food very happily. I don't want to force him to eat by enticing him with food that might make him sicker since I don't know what is wrong with him. I am so thankful for your good thoughts of Teddy. He is being admitted tomorrow to the hospital for an ultrasound of the abdomen and possibly other tests. He will be there all day under the care of his regular internal medicine specialist. I know she'll find out what's wrong.

Dropped Teddy off. Prayers are appreciated for my sweet boy who in just four days looks pretty thin. He still smells like vomit even though he hasn't vomited. I'm worried, but it is what it is. He is in the absolute best place under the care of an amazing internist. No one on the planet could take as good of care as I do of him so we will do whatever my little sweetie needs.

Teddy remains in my thoughts and prayers. It is frightening how much weight these little ones can lose fast. Praying the doctors can determine today what is bothering him and get him on the mend quickly.

Teddy's ultrasound did not provide any clues to why he wasn't eating. They assume it was gastroenteritis. They saw a small mass in the bladder and want me to follow up with a repeat study (which i am not doing). He appears peppy today, and hopefully will eat tonight.

My vet put my Yorkie on hills zd dog food. Spud loves it. He had pancreatitis and that's all he gets. There are treats he can eat that are the zd dog diet also. This food smells makes my husband gag but the dog eats it and is doing well. How I pray for little teddy to get better and eat. Ask the vet about this food. Teddy May you be blessed with a good appetite.

I am so sorry about all of the trouble poor Teddy is having and not finding out what is the problem. I so hope this will get sorted out and he will do better. It must be so scary that he is not eating proper and losing weight is so scary for you to see happen. Could this mass they saw in his bladder be the cause as you said they want to do a repeat test? You must be so unnerved about this. I just saw this post and I want to send my best wishes for the little man. I hope you will keep us updated. Best wishes for you and Teddy.
