| Yes and Fish as gemy mentioned. I didn't think about that as Sparky will not eat fish at all. Also, we contacted a Holistic vet & he sent us supplements to help Sparky through his chemo & I believe that helped but mostly keeping his tummy settled with the Cyproheptadine I believe is what made all the diff. And he did enjoy the steak but can't eat it now as the chemo caused some kidney damage so he's on KD & fish oil now along with ProBiotics daily & for the rest of his life, however long that may be. Sparky gets colitis easily & always has so he is taking a supplement called (Beta-TCP) to help his body digest fats so he can take the fish oil without setting off a bout of colitis. We test his liver & kidneys as well as check the cancer cells every 3 months & so far so good. |

| William won't eat any kind of fish. I got a special diet made specifically for him which called for tilapia with potatoes and he wouldn't touch it. It was quite expensive and supposedly very balanced. I was excited to be able to fix it to provide everything he needed. I tried preparing it several ways but he wouldn't come near it. Today he wouldn't eat what he ate a lot of yesterday. So I just shared some fresh ham from a sandwich I bought. He was happy and I loved watching him gobble it down. Probably not the best for his system but it's after 1PM and it's the first he's eaten since this AM with this meds. He is spoiled and I know I am to blame for a lot of it, but he's nearly 16 and I don't think Im going to be able to change him at this point. He's still loosing weight but has lots of energy today and seems to feel well. His labs are good (except for his P labs but his P is not active), Kidneys, liver all good. And he's happily taking his afternoon nap with a full tummy. |
