Thank you all so much for your well wishes- it has been a long day and your words and thoughts are much appreciated. Lilah has not thrown up since the anti nausea medication and is back to eating and drinking (she is eating rc scrip gi low fat for now) she is obviously a bit worn out but for the most part in good spirits, she has peed a couple of times too- I mean, lol, of course I guess since she got the sub Q fluids but man that is a relief! Measures of health ya know? She was such a good girl with me all day and is curled up in my lap right now as I write this. Her injection should wear off before noon tomorrow and if she resumes vomiting we will be going in to request an x ray but at this point gastroenteritis is the diagnosis. I hope a few days of bland food/prescription diet is all that she needs to get back to normal. Thanks for all the support

Make sure she didn't get into anything or lick strange stuff. I know they spray in my neighborhood and if a dog licks that poison they can get sick. I am praying she will be well soon and back to normal. My Spud had a really bad bout of pancreatitis and he is on the Hills Zd diet and he is doing well. I hope Lillah is eating a high quality dog food.

Thank you, yes sprays can be a great concern! Lilah is primarily a house pup to be honest but we are very careful with toxins particularly as we have six children thirteen and under in our home. I would never underestimate the possibility though, sometimes your just surprised. I'm glad spud is doing well, Lilahs pancreatitis test came back negative. We took a long time to Find the right food for Lilah but at the advise of yorkiemom1 we started with royal canin mini about...six months ago? And it has been so perfect for her! Two nights ago Lilah was showing every cute bone in her body and my flattered fiancé was feeding her little pieces of rabbit meat, I think she may have had too much of that coupled with new treats she got and maybe a few extra than she needed and her tummy just turned all sideways! That's the only thing I can think of, sigh. I am glad she is settled now and I just hope when the medicine wears off tomorrow that she does not resume vomiting thank you for your well wishes

Wow just seeing this. Praying this is all behind her now and the shot and IV fluids will make her all better. It's so scary when they get sick

The bad news was that she was sick. The good news is that the cause seems to be the least harmful of the possibilities. We are all praying that Lilah is back to her normal happy self VERY soon!

Hoping your baby girl is better....I think Rabbit meat can be a lttle rich for them/their system, and if they are not used to it, it can cause tummy issues.....she may have gotten too much of that and it upset the apple cart! Hoping she will be feeling better "quick as a bunny"!!!
