| Severe GI Issues, Need Help My 5 pound Yorkie male exploded bloody mucus poop onto his mat inside. Took him to the vet within 15 minutes. Said it might have been HGE pancreatitis colitis but moreover a serious intestinal bacteria. I have been feeding them Pet Select which is a raw dog food now he is going on a scripted low carb diet at seven years old. He is taking two kinds of medicine for 10 days. He has had 2 bouts of pancreatitis and the medicine the vet gave me did not work. But he never bled out like this before. He threw up his water and some grass earlier that day and for some reason also pooped in the hall and in the kitchen which is very unusual for him. His name is Chewie. Yorkie I never owned a dog nor a cat. This puppy came to me when its owner died November 2013. I hear that those HGE is kind of a mysterious hit and miss disease but that it can be fatal. I need to join a group for much needed support. I don't want to miss any important medical signs. scared in Waterford, Julie |
