| ![]() Its a coincidence because before Sunni got ill, she had just started trying to go up the stairs…she managed the first land, 3 steps np..but wouldn't go up the long flight which is carpeted. I also have an extra high bed, which most little dogs would have a hard time jumping up on..so the worry is jumping off. I got the doggie stairs but they didn't work at all. Too narrow and even I didn't feel they were sturdy. So, I have 2 step stool that I use in the kitchen..brought up to my room and put against the bed. Its metal with two steps with rubber grips them, and its very sturdy. I lured her up with treats fairly easily…luring down took longer. It took a few days for her to get the idea, but she uses them to go up and down now all the time…no trying to jump. However, today I was out on the deck washing it off and the pups were inside…I came in and looked around..saw Harry in his bed..no sign of Sunni..until I heard whimpering from upstairs, lol….She mastered them behind my back the little devil!! But she can't come down, lol…she's gone upstairs 3 times since then so I had to go to the garage to get a big flattened cardboard box to block her until I can get gates…She's dying to go upstairs right now and is trying to figure out how to get around the barricade, haha. looks like yet another trip to Petsmart tomorrow.. |

| ![]() So yesterday I took sparkle outside to play (we have a fenced in yard) and she decides to almost give her mama a heart attack by flying up the patio stairs ![]() |
