| ![]() 2 of our yorkies had hip surgery where the procedure 'wrapped muscle or ligament around bone to hold it '? done awhile ago, mufasa had passed but did well, muffin doing ok but it has been almost 10 yrs and she is close to 16-17 yo....in people, the joint is wholly or partially replaced with a prosthesis, sometimes what appears to be knee pain in people is referred from a joint problem...get a second opinion maybe, even with people it is recommended to do one joint at a time to allow for recovery to have a sound joint to rely on and minimize longterm and additive effects of anesthesia.... - does loki jump up to and down from high surfaces ie the bed? since he is so young, maybe he should wait till all his bones and joints are better developed? Good luck to you and Loki, prayers and good thoughts to you both..... Quote:
