They actually do have hip replacements for dogs.

Pretty amazing to see and they do really well. Mostly done in large dogs from what I have seen. I spend a lot of time at the specialist and see many. It is very expensive!
I thought about it for one of mine but ended up doing the FHO and she did fantastic.
