I'd like to thank wveryone for your support. When I picked my fella up yesterday he showed a bit more life. He spent the night at home and believe it or not, he barked once or twice - havent heard that in a while, I was trully happy. Today, at morning, I took him back to the vet because he needed to be there for another dose of infusion and I just picked him up now. The vet said they took his urine and it was quite normal so there is large chance this is just an infection and not cancer, since he's recovering so quickly. I need to take him to the last dose of his infusion on monday and then we're done with it. I will ofcourse keep you updated. Cheers.

I am so glad you took your pup in for a 2nd opinion! Any vet that would advise to let any dog go without food for 4 or 5 days would never see me and mine again. Especially a Yorkie!! Bad VET! When you said cancer my heart dropped as I lost 2 (non-Yorkies) of my dear babies to this horrible disease just recently. Yes, Yes, yes stay on top of your babies vet appointments and give the meds. as prescribed. Try to get your baby to eat a good dog food. I say canned since he only has a few teeth. You can even mix that with water and/or puppy milk. He needs super soft. So glad you are going the distance to care for your baby. Keep us posted because we really care!
