I am so glad you took your pup in for a 2nd opinion! Any vet that would advise to let any dog go without food for 4 or 5 days would never see me and mine again. Especially a Yorkie!! Bad VET! When you said cancer my heart dropped as I lost 2 (non-Yorkies) of my dear babies to this horrible disease just recently. Yes, Yes, yes stay on top of your babies vet appointments and give the meds. as prescribed. Try to get your baby to eat a good dog food. I say canned since he only has a few teeth. You can even mix that with water and/or puppy milk. He needs super soft. So glad you are going the distance to care for your baby. Keep us posted because we really care!
