| Sinus Asystole My little 4 pound 2 years old Yorkie has had this abnormal abnormality since I got her at 10 weeks old. The 4 vets have seen her and say it's nothing to worry about. Has anyone heard of it in this breed and is it true that it is a normal abnormality? Should I be or not be worried? She has NO problems with it. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT . "Asystole" means an absence of rhythm/activity -- so no, I can't say that'd be normal. What, exactly, do they mean by it - do they mean occasional sinus pauses or....? Bc like I said, asystole means, basically, flatline - and that can't be the case w/ your kiddo given she is living and healthy.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Here is a link:Ventricular Standstill in Dogs | petMD Also what I would suggest (and perhaps should have been suggested by your vet), is an appointment with a cardiologist. I am not sure if you have the name of the condition correct or not. Soft heart murmurs are pretty common - but this condition I have no idea of its commonness.
