| ![]() I haven't been on here in months due to me being so busy. I took Lola to the vet in December and she said she had dry skin and that's why she's itching. She told me to give her fish oil with her food, and get food that helps skin and coat. I've been giving her fish oil but it doesn't seem to be helping any. Is there anything I could put on her that will help? She's driving me crazy lol. And she is soo picky with what she eats. I have no idea what to buy her. She'll eat can food pretty good, but she will hardly eat any dry. Also, is there any food that you could add water to to make it more of a soft food? |

| ![]() I've never heard of SD D/D. A woman told me once that she used a baby shampoo with argon oil. I haven't tried that yet, I was kinda afraid lol. But I may get that or the one you use and try it out. |

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() Skin problems I had a little chocolate poodle with terrible itchy skin. Took Chips to the derm dr and he put her on a venison base food. It really helped. Hope you can get this solved. I use the hy lyte shampoo I get from the vet. |

| ![]() Our Phoebe had trouble with really bad itching and scratching all the time. She is now on allergy shots and they are helping. Have you heard of Fresh Pet Vital? Phoebe was a picky eater and we tried this in the beef and bison and she has never turned her nose up lol!! been on this for 6 months now. Hope this might help.

| ![]() I really don't understand the resistance to a dermatologist. You would find a solution for your poor pup so much faster. OR just ask your vet about whether he/she might put your pup on Apoquel. Seems to be a very successful drug for allergy pups.

| ![]() You can get this at pet smart or petco. This is also grain free. This has helped with her skin as well as her appetite ![]()

| ![]() This is very true. Most allergies in dogs are environmental.

And red bumps that looks like rashes I googled it and it looks exactly like fleas, I sprayed her with herbal flea spray and didn't work I put frontline on her and nothing I searched her while body for any evidence of fleas and NOTHING!! I had my mom check and also Spicys dad and no trace! Now I'm starting to realize she's getting a tad bit bald on her thigh, she has dry flaky skin and red bumbs that do look like bites I've tried oatmeal shampoo and nothing, I need advice on what it could be, should I take her to the vet?
