| The poor baby is really having it bad, isn't he? Have you taken him to the vet for all of these many issues he is having? Is he drinking water? There has to be a medical reason for all of this. I took my Joey in to the vet this Monday because he was not doing well. It was a very good decision. He had several things bothering him like the stringy but not brown stuff he had coming from his bum. He did not want to eat or drink and he acted very restless and kept putting his bum in the air like he was trying to relieve something. Found out he had colitis and had been in pain. Can't remember all the vet told me was the problem but I believe the main word was he had Colitis. He said he must have picked up a bacteria or possibly his Gastroenteritis had flared up. He gave him two shots. One for pain and one antibiotic shot. Then he sent him home with a few days of antibiotics. He is doing so much better now and it is a relief to see him not in misery any more. He had told me I could have had him take some honey or syrup to help him not get his blood sugar too low. So I wonder if it would not be beneficial to take him to the vet or at least call and tell him what is going on and get some advice. I sure he gets better soon!!

| Well, I went to a different vet today with Mickey. He did an x-ray to see if he had a blockage, which he didn't. He did see a lot of gas in his intestines and a little food in his stomach, probably the bits of chicken. He gave him a shot for the gas and a shot to increase his appetite. Also some pills to give him for the stomach in case his stomach is having acid problems and pills for appetite also. We are hoping for the best but after 4 more hours he still hasn't eaten. Please know that I do so appreciate you people here on this forum. I don't feel so alone with you here. I will keep you informed.

| Buster was avoiding his food so I ended up getting an allergy panel and he was allergic to a lot of the food I was feeding him like chicken, turkey, duck, fish and more so it might be allergies. It might also be colitis as Silver Lace suggested because that occurred to Buster and I was thinking of mentioning that to you when you described his stools. I hope Mickey is feeling better soon.

| I am so sorry that after taking him to yet another vet and getting all the meds for him and the x ray and all that he is still not eating. It sure seems to be a puzzle and I hope it gets cleared up soon. How old is he and what does he weigh? If you said so in one of your earlier posts I have forgotten. I am so glad you will keep us informed of the situation with him. I hope only the very best outcome for Mickey and for you as I know you must be so concerned as I was with my Joey. If you have any try getting him to take some honey or syrup to keep up his strength some. I wish I knew more to tell you to help out. God's blessings on you both.

| Well he ate breakfast this morning. I have given him his medicines already and hoping this will continue. I did give him Karo syrup and Nutrical to keep his strength up a little. He is 20 weeks old and weighs 5 pounds. This is one time that I am glad that he is a chubby little thing.

| I think we are over whatever was wrong with Mickey! He is his happy little self this morning and ate his breakfast, gobbling it up like he used to. He has been playing all morning and enjoying life with our little 2 month old malti-poo puppy I am so glad to see him back again! Thank you so much, all of you, for the well wishes and encouragement.

| So happy for the positive update and hearing that he is feeling better today. He probably ate something he should not have…as pups do…and that he is over it now. Stay well little Mickey. :-) |

| I am so relieved to hear how well Mickey is doing today. Makes my heart glad. When I was a girl I had a dog named Mickey. Just now thought of that. Hope he stays well and happy. I know you must be so very pleased to see him be his old playful self.

| So happy and relieved for Mickey and, of course, for yourself, that he is currently back to normal. He must be so happy that he has you in his court! Always nice to get wonderful news Cheers and here's hoping things continue being positive. Best thoughts and hugs from Canada. |

| YT 2000 Club Member | My JoJo was throwing up bile this am. It is warm in our house. I wonder if he just can't take the warm air. Every so often he has a bout of this. I give him bland diet of boiled chicken and rice. When he keeps that down and seems better, back on the Wellness food. |

| YT 2000 Club Member | So glad Mickey is better. JoJo is eating chicken and rice and seems to be ok. I am getting some Science Diet ID also for him. He will eat that until his stools are back to normal. You have a poodle! I had poodles. I love them and of course Yorkies! |
