Shelly, you and Mylee are in my thoughts, prayers, and heart. |
Praying for Mylee and Shelly. Hoping she will be home soon. |
You guys.....I have not posted because I know my frustrations will carry over to you all, rightfully so. Mylee still is not home. Yesterday she threw up more bile and had a soft stool so they've kept her. This has been such a roller coaster. I really had my hopes up. The vets have consulted with each other and today they consulted a specialist. All her blood work looks great...except for her sulfanilamides (not sure I got that right). They are pretty high and since she doesn't have parasites, the specialist wanted them to check for Cushing disease. It was negative so that leaves inflammation, inflammatory bowel. I expressed my concern that she is very high anxiety, so much so that I feel it would not be good for me to see her, and that being hospitalized is likely doing more harm than good. They agreed, but want to treat her with some steroids for the inflammation and more fluids this afternoon and I am supposed to pick her up this evening and bring her home. I'll keep you posted. |
So we continue to pray! I am so sorry you and Mylee are going through all of this!! Hugs to you both! |
Mylee Thank you for the update, but I am so sorry it is not happier news. You must be very disappointed and stressed by this. The roller coaster ride you are on is very hard to take and I hope that a definitive diagnosis and treatment come soon. Poor baby, she must be upset being in the hospital and away from home and you. You are right not visiting, as that would probably bring on more anxiety. I pray that she can be stabilized enough for you to have her home. Hope that this time you can to really do that. Sorry you and Mylee are going through this terrible trauma and uncertainty, but hope it will be resolved soon. Thought and prayers go out to you. |
Poor little Mylee. I wonder what that lump was in her gut that the surgeon massaged and broke up that has caused that poor baby so much trouble since she ate/swallowed it? Obviously they aren't seeing anything still in the gut on x-ray or sonogram so hopefully the steroids will meet the need and bring her inflammation down to the point they feel she is safe to come home tonight. We're still praying for you both. |
Oh Shelly, I am sorry. I will continue praying for your baby girl. |
I'm glad to see you update and am keeping Mylee in my prayers. I sure hope she will be able to be home tonight...may be good to be home and with you and she will be more comfortable in her own home. Hugs to you as I know you can't wait to get her home later. |
I am sorry sending prayers for Mylee and you. I am sure she will feel much better being home with you and I hope that helps her get better faster. |
Hoping Mylee just needs to be home to feel better thanks for the update |
I am so sorry she is not doing well yet, but I do hope that being home will help her get back to normal. Whatever it is, I just feel that she and you will both be a whole lot happier with her at home for now. |
Hopefully, Mylee is home in your loving arms. Praying that she is feeling better! |
Still praying for little Mylee. Hopefully she's home & doing a bit betterr! |
